  1. How far in advance of our tentative date of travel should we look to book?
    Obviously getting the “ball rolling” as early as possible affords your group the opportunity to properly build and plan your trip. Look to contact us as early as possible so we can jointly plan your trip and provide you a proposal. This said we do have the ability to turn around a travel package for those with last minute plans in mind.
  2. How long of a trip should we look to plan?
    The purpose and type of tour you choose will determine your length of stay. As a general rule look for your trip to be at least 1 week.
  3. Are family members and supporters welcome to join our traveling group?
    This depends largely on the head of your group, but Yes, all family members, friends and supporters are welcome and, furthermore, will enjoy a special program of sightseeing, shopping & cultural activities in addition to the soccer.
  4. Is there a payment installment plan in place?
    Yes. In your contract with us we will outline an installment plan allowing you to better match the collection of funds to your groups fundraising efforts. Payment can be made by certified cheque, money order and credit card.
  5. How does group size affect our tour costs?
    All depending on the type of tour, location etc larger groups can definitely save money. This can be accomplished with a larger family/supporters group traveling as well. Some clubs even decide to take a few teams at the same time, and benefit as such.
  6. Can I book my own flights (or use my air miles)?
    Although not always the best method in terms of keeping the group together, where possible parents, family, and supporters can book flights on their own. A land only package price will be provided.
  7. Can minors travel with one parent, or even on their own within the group?
    Often it is required that a notarized letter of permission from a parent(s) (legal guardian(s)) be drawn up in situations where one or no parent accompanies their child on the trip. We can definitely help you with this.
  8. Do we need to obtain permission to travel from local soccer organizations?
    We encourage you to contact your governing body for exact requirements well in advance of travel.
  9. What types of identification are required to travel to our location?
    Often a valid passport will do. In some situations a travel visa will be required as well. We will help you determine the exact documentation required well in advance of your travel.
  10. Should we purchase trip interruption/cancellation insurance?
    We believe that all travelers should purchase this product from an insurance provider. We can definitely help you choose the right product.
  11. Outside of the soccer itinerary, do we need to have a detailed/planned itinerary for sightseeing, dinner etc?
    That is all up to your group. Your plans are customizable to allow you to enjoy your stay as you please.

    Sigma’s in depth knowledge of the level of soccer to be expected will be utilized during the consultation process to ensure it’s a right match for your team’s ultimate goals through overseas travel.
  2. Can we receive pro coaching clinics for our players?
    Many traveling teams take advantage of this option to help prepare them for their overseas play. This can be conducted both prior to departure and during your travels, with highly regarded coaches and instructors leading the group.
  3. Should we bring our own balls and equipment?
    This will all depend on the type of tour chosen. At a minimum you will be expected to carry your own uniforms. With respect to balls and field equipment, Sigma will advise accordingly.
  4. How will we know country specific rules in such areas as age group classifications, substitutions, match duration and amount of players utilized (6v6, 9v9, 11v11)?
    We will definitely advise your group during the consultation process on all that can be expected in each country as pertaining to the game, and this includes all of the above.
  5. Can we invite guest players to join us?
    Often this is not a problem and really depends on your own preference on the make up of the squad. Where certain restrictions may exist we will definitely notify you in advance.
